Infomina Posts RM196.7 Million Revenue in FY2025, Eyes Growth Through AI Expansion

KUALA LUMPUR: Regional technology solutions provider INFOM has posted a full-year revenue of RM196.7 million and profit after tax and minority interests (PATMI) of RM21.1 million for the financial year ended 31 May 2025 (FY2025), despite provisions and foreign exchange losses in the fourth quarter.

The group’s performance was dampened by a RM10.04 million provision related to a single customer in the Philippines and RM3.0 million in forex losses. Excluding these one-offs, Infomina’s normalised profit before tax (PBT) would have stood at RM40.4 million.

“While headline profitability in FY2025 was impacted by a non-cash provision and foreign exchange losses, Infomina delivered a solid operational performance,” said Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Yee Chee Meng. “The Group recorded improved margins, with revenue just under RM200 million and normalised PBT of RM40.4 million.”

For the fourth quarter, Infomina reported revenue of RM53.4 million, down 8.7% year-on-year, largely due to lower hardware deliveries compared to the same quarter in FY2024. The group also recorded a loss before tax of RM1.5 million for the quarter.

Despite this, the group remains in a strong financial position, with RM94.7 million in cash and short-term deposits as of end-May, and low total borrowings of RM3.1 million. Its current ratio stood at a healthy 2.2 times.

The company declared its maiden dividend of 1.2 sen per share during the financial year, reflecting its robust operating cash flow.

Looking ahead, Infomina is banking on its artificial intelligence arm, Infomina AI Sdn Bhd, to drive future growth. In June, it partnered with CTOS to provide real-time API access to official SSM data, while in July it launched Malaysia’s first recognised digital property valuation platform, ValuationXchange, with Geolytik Tech Sdn Bhd.

“These two strategic collaborations represent important pillars for our expansion into fintech, proptech, and data services,” said Yee. “The traction seen in both API and AI-driven solutions reinforces our confidence in the long-term scalability of this segment.”

The company also highlighted strong growth momentum in international markets, particularly Japan. “We are encouraged by the positive progress in Japan, where our local team continues to gain traction with key clients,” Yee noted. “We believe Japan has the potential to become Infomina’s largest overseas market in the coming years.”

Infomina’s order book, recurring income base, and AI-led services are expected to underpin its performance heading into FY2026. The Group said it remains focused on executing ongoing projects, expanding its footprint in Asia, and supporting clients in digital transformation journeys.
