KUALA LUMPUR: Binastra Corp Bhd has secured a RM303.8 million contract for the construction of an industrial warehouse facility in Bandar Bukit Raja, Kapar, Selangor.

The group's wholly-owned subsidiary, Binastra Builders Sdn Bhd, accepted the letter of award from PTT Synexis Sdn Bhd on Nov 4, 2026.

The fixed-price lump-sum contract covers piling, construction of the main buildings and associated external works for the proposed development at Jalan Lansaran 2/KU 5.

The project comprises a single-storey warehouse equipped with an automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS), a mezzanine floor and a three-storey office building.

Other facilities include two two-storey mechanical and electrical buildings, two guardhouses, two refuse chambers, an electrical substation, a five-storey car park and a temporary container yard depot.

The contract is scheduled to commence on Nov 11, 2026, with completion targeted for Sept 30, 2027.

Binastra said the project is expected to provide an additional revenue stream for the group and contribute positively to its earnings and net assets per share for the financial years ending Jan 31, 2027 and 2028.

The contract will not have any impact on the group's issued share capital.

The company also said none of its directors, major shareholders or persons connected to them has any direct or indirect interest in the contract.
