KUALA LUMPUR: MICROLN’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Microlink Solutions Sdn Bhd (MSSB), has secured a 12-month extension to its contract with the Home Ministry (KDN), worth RM59.58 million.
In a filing on Friday, Microlink said MSSB accepted a letter from KDN dated Nov 5 on the extension on Nov 6.
The extension runs from Nov 6, 2026 to Nov 5, 2027, bringing the contract period to 36 months from the original 24 months. The total contract value has increased to RM137.92 million from RM78.34 million, excluding sales and service tax.
The additional scope covers continued application services for onboarding additional airlines, infrastructure services, software licence renewals, as well as support and maintenance of the APS System.
Microlink said the extension is expected to contribute positively to the group’s revenue, earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending June 30, 2027, over the extended contract period.
It is not expected to have a material impact on the group’s gearing, issued share capital or substantial shareholders’ shareholdings.
The extension does not require shareholder or government approval. Microlink’s board said it is in the group’s best interests.
